South and Mid Cheshire Leagues Reach Half Way Point

Latest team tennis update

After seven weeks of tennis the South and Mid Cheshire Tennis League reached the half way point
All of the Congleton mens teams have something to play for in the coming weeks
In division one Mens A suffered their first defeat of the season against Hartford A but remain in a tight three way tussle for the title with Hartford and Nantwich 
In division two Mens B beat their nearest rivals Hartford D in week seven by 4.5 sets to 3.5 and have a three point lead going into the second half of the season
Mens C and D both won their matches in week seven with the C team at the top of division four and the D team in third just one point behind second placed Nantwich D
Mens E and F also secured wins leaving them in a three way tie for second place in division five with Wistaston C. Congleton E hold the second spot of set difference
Ladies A secured a much needed win over Hartford C but both they and the Ladies B team are fighting relegation in division one 
Ladies C had a good win away at Hartford D and reach the half way point mid table in division two with Ladies D also mid table in division three
In mixed tennis the A team are third after a narrow defeat to Nantwih A whilst the B team are sixth at the half way point
